O verall, the percutaneous vertebroplasty has low com plication rate. N evertheless, severe com plications can occur. The m ajority ofthese are related to cem entleakage.The cem entm igration through perivertebralvenous system can lead to fatalcom plication. W e present a case of death by hem othorax due to cem ent leakage following percutaneous vertebroplasty w ith literature review.
